Photo Tuesday-Coati at Lunch

Coati in Iguazu National Park. This animal is called a coati and they are found all over Iguazu National Park. They may look nice but they are known for stealing food and bags from people. This makes them the South America version of monkeys from Asia, forcing you to keep a tighter hold on any thing you have with you.

    • I don’t think so. It’s a great place, but some parts of the park were closed when I went. They all should be open when you go, so that should be great for you.

  1. Glad I stumbled across this; I used to work for a zoo, and two of my favorite residents were a the coatis — they were quite the mischievous pair. It’s cool to see one in action in “the wild” though!

By the way, thanks for the follow on American Escapist — I’m glad you liked it, and I look forward to reading more about your adventures here!
