Thanksgiving In Taiwan

When I woke up yesterday there was one question that I needed to answer.  What should I eat for Thanksgiving?  Most of the time this is not a question that I have to ask myself. That is because the answer is all ways the normal Thanksgiving dinner my family makes.  However since I am in Taiwan and not back home, I must think about this question.  After giving it some thought, there seemed like only one right answer.  That answer was none other than KFC.  It might not be the best food and it for sure is not as good as a Thanksgiving dinner back home, but it got the job done for me this Thanksgiving in Taiwan.  Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Your eating KFC put a smile on my face. Whenever I travel, there must be one (or two) occasions where I go to MacDonalds or KFC! The taste of these fast foods never change, no matter which country you are in! I feel like I am closer to home.

  2. KFC does do the job for Thanksgiving, in a pinch. I’ve had to resort to that restaurant at least once! I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving and that you are so resourceful!

  3. If you haven’t done it already, head over to the Beer & Cheese Social House. Great selection of beers, fabulous grilled cheese sandwiches and most of bartenders speak English.
