Fried Rice in Taiwan.

This plate of fried rice is far from anything new for me.  However I thought it might taste a little different from the fried rice I can get back home at a Chinese restaurant, but to my joy it tastes almost the exact same.  It can be nice to be able to eat local while still getting to eat something that taste a little like home.  Consumed in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

End note:  Some of my food photos have been used to make an interactive language lesson.  You can take a look at the photos and learn some new words by going to Vocabulix.

  1. Great shot! I agree, sometimes it is nice to eat something that is similar to home. I also try to do that. For example make salmon sometimes, as I live in Bolivia.

I also would like to inform that I have nominated your blog for 4 blog awards. Haha, yes 4! It is up to you hat you would like to do with it. Accept it or not. No pressure! Just want to say that I really like your blog!

    Wish you a wonderful weekend!

  2. Fried rice instantly reminds me of travel, as it’s pretty much the cheapest thing anywhere. You can’t beat fried rice with egg for a dollar from a man with a wok on a wheelbarrow.
