About

Hi I’m Ryan!  When I graduated college in the spring of 2012 I decided to go to Thailand to volunteer with a NGO (This was something I wanted to do because my undergrad is in sociology and human services, so I guess you could say I like meeting and helping people).  I volunteered in Thailand for two months and then decided to travel around other parts of Asia.  Ever since that first trip to Asia I have been trying to go and see as many new places as I can. When I am traveling I am always writing down my thoughts and reactions to the new world around me.  I thought it was time for me to branch out and start this blog; I will keep jotting it down as I go so I can tell you all about it.  Let me know how you like it and if you ever want to get in touch with me leave a comment or you can email me at ryan@thoughtsfromtheroad.com
